Drama as security official punches motorcyclist dead over N150 in Ogun(Photos)

Tragedy struck in Iyana-Motuary area of Abeokuta in Ogun state when a Union official of Association of Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle and Tricycle, Owners, Repairers and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN) identified as Saheed allegedly punched  a  bricklayer, Ibrahim Raji to death over his refusal to pay mandatory daily ticket fee of N150.

It was gathered that fight began after a heated argument ensued between the deceased and the ACOMORAN official .

Reports say that Raji was accosted by Saheed at Iyana-Motuary junction and told him to purchase the day’s ticket but Raji refused, claiming he was not a commercial motorcyclist.

It was learnt that the refusal of the deceased infuriated Saheed and made  him dragged Raji down from his motorcycle and gave him a punch on his head and Saheed gave up the ghost immediately .

An eye-witness told said that Saheed  allegedly wore a ‘magical ring’ which was said to have been  used  to hit the rider in the  head.

The ACOMORAN official immediately ran to the union’s secretariat where he was later arrested by police as soon as he discovered that  Raji had become lifeless.

Saheed was consequently detained at the Ibara Police Divisional headquarters in Abeokuta.

The deceased was rushed to Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba where he was confirmed dead.
