Police:We Will Arrest Saraki By Force If He Does Not Honour Our Invitation

PRESS RELEASE

RE: INVITATION TO SEN. BUKOLA SARAKI, THE PRESIDENT OF THE SENATE, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA ON THE CASE OF OFFA BANK ROBBERY AND GRUESOME MURDER OF MORE THAN 31 PERSONS AND SNATCHING OF 21 AK47 RIFLES ON THE 5TH OF APRIL, 2018.

·The Senate President must honour Police Invitation; otherwise the Force will not hesitate to use all the instruments of the Law to ensure compliance with the law.
·The Force did not besiege the Senate President residence as alleged

The Nigeria Police Force on the 23rd of July, 2018 invited Sen. Bukola Saraki, President of the Senate, Federal Republic of Nigeria, to report to the head of investigation team at the Intelligence Response Team office at Guzape junction, Asokoro Extension, Abuja today, 24th of July, 2018 at 8am for further investigation on his indictment from confessional statements from some of the five (5) gang leaders arrested for their active participation in the Offa bank robbery and gruesome murder of more than 31 persons and snatching of 21 AK47 rifles on the 5th of April, 2018 but the Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, President of the Senate, Federal Republic of Nigeria refused to honour Police invitation as at the time of this press release.
2.     The Force therefore, insists that the Senate President, Sen. Bukola Saraki, President of the Senate, Federal Republic of Nigeria is being expected to report to the head of investigation team at the Intelligence Response Team office at Guzape junction, Asokoro Extension, Abuja and should honour the invitation, otherwise the Force will not hesitate to use all the instruments of the Law to ensure compliance with the law.
3.     The Nigeria Police Force’s attention was also drawn to the innuendos in the early hours of today that some Police men were seen surrounding the residence of the Senate President; the Force wishes to categorically state that there was no authorised deployment of Police personnel to besiege the residence of the Senate President or his deputy as reported in the media. The police personnel seen in pictures in the media were those in the convoy of the Senate President and others attached to him.
4.     However, the Inspector General of Police has directed a thorough investigation to ascertain the facts in the episode. The Force will not allow the end of justice to be perverted by this distraction.
5.     The Nigeria Police will ensure that the rule of law prevails in this matter

Proscribed IPOB members dare Buhari,storm church with Biafran flags in Enugu(Photos)

The Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra in Nsukka have started its church to church evangelism, propagating the gospel of IPOB restoration in the whole territory.

On 22nd ofJuly, 2018 the IPOB Enugu North district visited the St. Theresa Anglican Church with thanksgiving service and used the avenue to propagate the gospel of IPOB to the church members and the church leaders telling them to rise and support the IPOB struggle.

Kogi state non payment of salaries, Ibaji Local Government worker saved from committing suicide

Miss. Angela Ameh who works in Ibaji local government was stopped from killing herself.

According to report,the depressed lady who works with the local government said she has only received one month salary since Governor Yahaya Bello's administration came on board and she is owing cooperative money of about N200k which has been a major problem for her on where to get fund for repayment.

When all her hope lost, she drank ‘sniper’, a poisonous chemical.

A young boy who saw her vomiting and about to die called neighbours, they opened her mouth and forced red oil inside her stomach before  taking her to the community clinic.

2019: Atiku declares for presidency today


After several months of consultations with
critical stakeholders across the country and
members of the Peoples Democratic Party
( PDP) , former Vice President , Atiku Abubakar
will today , make a formal declaration to contest
the 2019 presidential election .
A press release from Atiku’ s media office notes
that Atiku will be making his declaration at a
rally in Yola , the capital of his home state of
Adamawa .
According to the release , Atiku’ s decision to
join the presidential race is in response to the
yearnings of majority of Nigerians to enthrone
a government that will fix the country’ s broken
economy , strengthen national unity and create
much - needed jobs for Nigerians . ”
It notes further that Atiku ’ s declaration today
will be followed with the unveiling of a policy
document that will give a clear direction to the
solutions that the former vice president hopes
to bring to bear in governance if elected
president of the country.
Atiku has also congratulated Former Minister
of Finance, Dr. ( Mrs. ) Ngozi Okonjo - Iweala on
her appointment to the Board of Twitter .
He said that Okonjo - Iweala is a national
treasure and her exploits on the world finance
and business stage is further proof that when
you empower a woman , you empower a
community, a nation and a continent.

Fani Kayode arrives Umuahia with his wife & children for the burial of his mother-in-law(Photos)

Fani Kayode arrived in Umuahia last night with his wife, children and entire family for his mother-in-law's (Mrs. Leticia Chikwendu) burial which will take place in Umuahia at 10.00am this morning.

Governor Okezie Victor Ikpeazu was out of town but they were given a wonderful reception at Government House by Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu and his beautiful wife Lady Vivian Ude Oko Chukwu.

According to Fani Kayode,the people of Abia and the eastern zone are his in-laws and he really loves them. Their constant love, encouragement, support and care has strengthened and inspired him enormously and has helped to sooth the pain of losing his mother-in-law.
